Qi Gong
Program: Daoyin Yangsheng Xingti Shi Yun
Daoyin Yangsheng Xingti Shi Yun (also called “the poem”) is a beautiful choreography from the Daoyin Yangsheng Gong (our main Qi Gong style) that can be practiced regularly to contribute to good health. It combines movements found in exercises specific for different organs and meridians to harmonize the energy flow in the whole body.
During this seminar we will review the first part of the choreography and cover the second part. We will work on each exercise to connect the movements with the breathing. In addition, we will review techniques to relax the mind and regulate the energy (Qi).
The seminar is accessible to everyone, even for people who never practiced Qi Gong before.

Kung Fu
Program: Long Staff (Gùn)
The staff is the most commonly used long weapon in Kung Fu. It doesn’t have a blade (like swords) or a sharp tip (like spears), but its length offers a long range distance for striking and keeping the opponent away. The simplicity of its shape makes it a weapon easily suitable in everyday life. Every object with a long stick can become a staff (a broom, a curtain rod…). Staff is a must for those who want to learn Chinese martial arts.
During the seminar we will learn or review how to handle the staff with rotation techniques and work on a long choreography. We will also cover applications with a partner to learn how to hit and to block efficiently with a staff.
This seminar is accessible to everybody and to all levels.
